  1. This is the README from the first release binary distribution of GNAT 3.03
  2. for ARM/RISC OS.

  4. Important note: This is not a `supported version' built by the GNAT core
  5. team. So, please report all bugs to gnat@arcangel.dircon.co.uk. The RISC
  6. OS version does not support tasking yet, but this is being worked on.

  8. See the !gcc.gnat directory for more information about GNAT.

  10. Running GNAT is documented in the file gnatinfo.  Debugging options are
  11. described in the file debug-info.

  13. The examples directory contains simple examples.

  15. Please read Help and Bugs for more information on the RISC OS specifics
  16. of this version of GNAT. Please read the documentation that came with
  17. GCC 2.7.2 for general information about using GNU compilers with RISC
  18. OS. This is extremely important since it will provide useful guidance if
  19. you are having problems.

  21. Before you ask, yes, I know that GNAT 3.07 is available. However, this
  22. version does not work under RISC OS yet due to a change in the code
  23. generated for exceptions. This code is experimental in GNAT and I will
  24. re-assess the likelihood of it working once gcc 2.8.0 becomes available.
